Francisco Andrade Marin

Francisco Andrade Marin (15 November 1841-6 September 1935) was President of Ecuador from 6 March to 10 August 1912, succeeding Carlos Freile Zaldumbide and preceding Alfredo Baquerizo.

Biography[]

Francisco Andrade Marin was born in Ibarra, Ecuador in 1841, and he served as Mayor of Quito in 1878, 1888, 1892, and 1905. As President of the Chamber of Deputies, he assumed the presidency from March to August 1912, when he ceded power to the elected president Alfredo Baquerizo.
