Francisco Abad Moreno (1768-) was a general of the Spanish Army.
Biography[]
Francisco Abad Moreno was born in Ciudad Real in La Mancha, Spain, in 1768. A veteran of the French Revolutionary Wars, Moreno was a cavalry officer and became a guerrilla lieutenant during the Peninsular War. In late June 1811, Moreno became a general of the Spanish Army when Great Britain liberated La Mancha from France, although Moreno served under the British Army.
