Francis Welter

Francis Welter (1826-1868) was the foreman of Goodfellow's Brewery in London.

Biography[]

Francis Welter was from Westminster, London, and he became the foreman of Goodfellow's Brewery. He was an associate of the Blighters, using them to guard his factory, which illegally employed child laborers. In 1868, Jacob Frye set out to liberate the factory, and he killed Welter on the bottom floor in an open fight.
