Francis Slay (18 March 1955-) was the Democratic Mayor of St. Louis from 2001 to 2017, succeeding Clarence Harmon and preceding Lyda Krewson.

Francis Slay was born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1955, and he practiced law before serving on the Board of Aldermen from 1985 to 2001 and as Mayor from 2001 to 2017. Slay oversaw residential development and the construction of Busch Stadium, and he returned to his legal practice in 2017.
