Francis Baylies

Francis Baylies (16 October 1793-28 October 1852) was a member of the US House of Representatives (F-MA 10) from 4 March 1821 to 3 March 1823 (succeeding Marcus Morton and preceding John Bailey) and from MA-12 from 4 March 1823 to 3 March 1827 (succeeding Lewis Bigelow and preceding James L. Hodges). Born in Taunton, he practiced law in his hometown before serving in Congress and as charge d'affairs in Argentina in 1832. He died in 1852.
