
Francesco da Velletri (died January 1500) was a Borgia captain during the Italian Wars.
Biography[]
Francesco da Velletri was born in the city of Velletri, Lazio, Papal States, and he became a captain in the Papal Army under Cesare Borgia. Da Velletri would be entrusted with the command of a Borgia guard tower in the Campagna district of Rome during the reign of Pope Alexander VI, and he was known to attack enemies on sight rather than cower in fear. Da Velletri was killed in combat with Ezio Auditore da Firenze in 1500.
