Francesco Rossini (born 1459) was an Italian condottiero during the Italian Wars.
Biography[]
Francesco Rossini was born in Italy in 1459, and he became a condottiero, fighting wars in exchange for money. He was a poor commander without chivalry, and he was not known as a particularly great general. In 1495, Rossini laid siege to the Papal-held city of Modena in northern Italy with the goal of carving out a domain for himself, but he was slain when the Papal forces sortied against his siege and lifted it.
