Fornburg was a small settlement in Rogaland, Norway and the hometown of the great Viking warrior Eivor. During the late 9th century, it was ruled by King Styrbjorn of Rogaland, whose rule over the region had been shattered by the rival King of Agder, Kjotve the Cruel, after three generations of war.
