Folger Nolan Fleming Douglas is the oldest investment banking firm in Washington DC, located on 725 15th Street. The firm was founded in 1889 by W.B. Hibbs, and the Folger Building was completed in 1906. In 1931, John Clifford Folger and James Parker Nolan established Folger Nolan & Company, and W. Leslie Douglas joined the firm in 1946, followed by Robert W. Fleming in 1948. In 1953, Folger Nolan & Company merged with W.B. Hibbs & Company.
