Flavio Panicucci (missing Late April 1797) was a general of the Papal States. In 1797, when Pope Pius VI declared a holy war on the First French Republic, he invaded Modena with 5,000 Papal troops, but French general Louis Gabriel Suchet halted him. In the First Battle of Reggio his army was decimated and he made off with only three of his entourage. His army melted away, and he was never seen again.
