The compound, circa 2000.
The Flaming Windmills' Compound was the main operating base of the Dutch-based Flaming Windmills motorcycle gang. The compound was located in Rotterdam Botlek, and industrial district of Rotterdam, Netherlands. It's unknown if the compound is still the gang's main base of operations following the assassination of their president, Rutgert van Leuven.
Biography[]
The property was a large private compound owned by the Flaming Windmills, a motorcycle gang and crime syndicate led by Rutgert Van Leuven, who use the compound as their base of operations. The compound, which is located in the Rotterdam Botlek industrial area of Rotterdam, Netherlands was made up of a bar, recreational rooms, offices, torture rooms, waiting rooms, a gun range, tattoo parlour, garages for cars and motorcycles and a warehouse where counterfeit US dollar bills are produced.
Following van Leuven's death, the authorities would discover three dead bodies (two bikers and a stripper/prostitute) located in a room in the basement, seemingly stabbed to death in an internal gang dispute.
