Fernanda Gómez de Agüero was a Spanish aristocrat who lived in Madrid during the 1920s. She was the mother of Pedro Ballester and Julia Ballester y Gómez de Rozas, and, in July 1921, she introduced her daughter to Duchess María del Carmen Angoloti y Mesa; Julia confidently volunteered to join Angoloti's Spanish Red Cross during the Rif War, despite Fernanda's hesitation.
