Fergie (born 27 March 1975), born Stacy Ann Ferguson, was an American singer, songwriter, rapper, and actress. Born in Hacienda Heights, California, she was a member of the children's television series Kids Incorporated before joining the girl group Wild Orchid. In 2002, she joined The Black Eyed Peas, and she had both a group and a solo career in a variety of genres. Fergie was a notable Democratic Party-supporting celebrity, hosting a benefit concert for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential election.
