Feng Zhanhai (6 November 1899-14 September 1963) was a general of the Republic of China during the Second Sino-Japanese War.
Biography[]
Feng Zhanhai was born on 6 November 1899, and he graduated from a military school in 1921. He commanded a regiment during the Japanese invasion of Manchuria in 1931, leading resistance against the Imperial Japanese Army and Manchukuo as the colonel of a volunteer regiment. His division served under Chiang Kai-shek during his war of resistance against Japan, and he joined the Communist Party of China during the Chinese Civil War after World War II's end. He died in 1963 after serving in several government offices.
