The Federal Assembly of Russia is the national legislature of Russia, founded on 12 December 1993 to replace the Supreme Soviet of Russia. The assembly consists of the Federation Council and the State Duma, both of which meet in Moscow, and the federal assembly consists of 170 Federation Council seats and 450 State Duma seats.
