Fayez al-Kandari () was an al-Qaeda member from Kuwait.
Biography[]
Fayez al-Kandari was born in Kuwait to a family of Sunni Muslim Arabs, and he was a member of the al-Qaeda terrorist group. He was captured by the United States government and held at Guantanamo Bay, where he was held until 9 January 2016. He was the last Kuwaiti prisoner in Guantanamo before he was allowed to return home.
