Fatah Sharif

Fatah Sharif Abu al-Amin (died 29 September 2024) was a Palestinian Hamas militant who chaired the UNRWA Teachers' Association and served as commander of Hamas in Lebanon. He coordinated Hamas activities in Lebanon with elements of Hezbollah, and he oversaw the recruitment of agents and the purchase of weapons. Sharif was suspended from his UN teaching position in March 2024 after he praised the al-Aqsa Flood terror offensive, leading to protests outside the UNRWA offices in Beirut. On 29 September 2024, he, his wife, and two children were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Tyre amid Operation Arrows of the North.
