The Family First Party was a social conservative political party in Australia that was founded in 2001. The party was affiliated with the Christian right of Australian politics, and it became strongly linked to the Pentecostal church in southern Australia and smaller denominations nationwide. The party advocated for a morals and family values agenda (opposing same-sex marriage), later emphasizing industrial relations reform, free speech, and smaller government, bringing the party closer to Cory Bernardi's Australian Conservatives party. In 2017, the party merged into the Conservatives after financial and political difficulties.
