
Faiq Dar (died 14 May 2008) was a member of the Iraqi Ba'ath Party who took part in the insurgency against the United States during the Iraq War.
Biography[]
Faiq Dar was born in Baghdad, Ba'athist Iraq to a Sunni Muslim Iraqi family, and he worked at a dairy market for many years. During the Iraq War, Dar joined the armed forces of the Iraqi Ba'ath Party in the insurgency against the United States, and he carried out attacks against the US Marine Corps in Baghdad. On 14 May 2008, Dar was killed by marines in a firefight on the rooftops of a residential neighborhood in the city.
