
Fadi Frem (1953-) was a leader of the Lebanese Forces during the Lebanese Civil War.
Biography[]
Fadi Frem was born in 1953 in the Achrafieh suburb of Beirut, Lebanon to a family of Catholic Maronites. He graduated from the American University of Beirut with a degree in mechanical engineering, and he joined the Lebanese Army in 1959. Frem fought against the Palestine Liberation Organization during the Lebanese Civil War, and from 13 September 1982 to 1984 he led the Lebanese Forces in the civil war, before Fouad Abou Nader replaced him as the LF commander-in-chief.
