Fabius Nerva was a Roman Army tribune who served in Legio XIV Gemina during the 1st century AD. He was the husband of Drusilla and the father of several children, and, from 61 to 64 AD, he served under Marcus Vinicius in Gaul and Britannia. Vinicius jokingly derided Fabius as a "man of the family to the bitter end" for wishing to return to his family upon his return to Rome, as Vinicius was a womanizer. Nerva later accompanied Vinicius to Aulus Plautius' estate, where they were welcomed as guests and met Paul the Apostle when he visited the household during dinner. In 68 AD, he and Vinicius would join Galba's coup against the tyrannical emperor Nero.
