
The Southern Front of the Free Syrian Army is an alliance of 58 Syrian Opposition factions formed on 14 February 2014. It controlled 70% of Daraa Governorate at one point, and it had 25,000 fighters during the Syrian Civil War, and the United States funded and supplied the Southern Front, giving it BGM-71 TOW missiles. It was allied to the Islamic Front and was enemies with the Syrian Arab Army, Yarmouk Martyrs Brigade, and Islamic Muthanna Movement.
