FBI SWAT

The Federal Bureau of Investigation Special Weapons and Tactics Teams (FBI SWAT) are special tactical teams of the United States' FBI agency, formed in 1983. FBI SWAT teams were trained to act in high-risk situations such as hostage and barricade situations, and the FBI SWAT had 56 field offices with about 42 operatives in each office. The FBI SWAT not only specialized in hostage rescues, but also in aircraft hijackings, tracking fugitives, stronghold and tubular assaults, and specialized sniper operations.
