Biography[]
Everett Gage was born in the United States on February 20th 1905 to a family of English descent. He was a registered Republican Party member in California during the 1940s. Gage openly despised Jewish people, and specifically targeted fellow businessman Edgar Kalou using his position within the Chamber of Commerce to reject any proposals Kalou would share. In January 1947, Gage noticed his employer Clovis Galletta was ready to purchase a watch and a pair of pearl earrings from Kalou's jewelry store. Gage took Galletta's installment voucher for the pearl earrings and angrily told her to go back to work, further commenting that the jewelry being sold was fake. An irate Kalou followed Gage back to his business and shot him in the back with an FN Browning handgun five times, killing him in broad daylight before throwing the pistol in a bin and fleeing the scene.
