Evan Langston was an American cowboy who lived in Tombstone, Arizona during the Wild West era. On 24 March 1884, he offered to steal a pair of Raoul de Morency's silken underdrawers from Carole Thayer's house as part of a $10 bet from Luke Miser, Ruffus Youngerman, and some other bar patrons, but De Morency caught him in the act and shot him in the back when he tried to escape, wounding him.
