Eva Heissen was a Prussian brothel madam who lived in New York City during the 1860s. She frequently serviced the NYPD detective Kevin Corcoran, and, in 1864, she murdered the abortionist Madam Grindel and her own employee Molly Stuart in an attempt to prevent Corcoran from discovering the whereabouts of his missing wife. In 1865, she became pregnant with Corcoran's child.
