Eusebio de Narvaez

Eusebio de Narvaez (died 1583) was an explorer of the Spanish Empire.

Biography[]

Eusebio de Narvaez was born in Malaga, Spain, and he became a soldier in the Spanish Navy, seeking to explore new lands for the Spanish Empire. He founded the colony of "Bosque Formosa" in South America, and his colony came into conflict with "Terra de Prata", a colony of the rival Iberian nation of Portugal. Narvaez would later scout the area along the north shore of the river dividing the eight civilizations, and Narvaez was killed by the English while passing through their colony of Billingsby, with the English explorer and an outpost shooting him dead.
