Ethan Pangle (died January 1865) was a Confederate soldier who served in the 25th North Carolina Infantry Regiment during the American Civil War. He deserted his unit during the American Civil War, and he and fellow deserters Stobrod Thewes and Georgia White became musicians back in Cold Mountain, North Carolina. In January 1865, they were accosted by the Confederate Home Guard at the cave where they hid out, and Raymond Teague shot Pangle in the face and wounded Thewes as the latter attempted to escape.
