The Espiritu Santo Unidad base raid occurred in 2019 when American special forces raided a Bolivian Unidad observation post in Espiritu Santo, gathering intelligence on the Santa Blanca Cartel's gold stashes.
Major Anthony Perryman and his Ghost Recon squad came to Unidad's hilltop observation post to acquire major intelligence on La Santera and her influence operation in Espiritu Santo province. Perryman took out a watchtower sentry before climbing the tower and picking off several soldiers in the base. He eventually caught the attention of the rest of the garrison, resulting in a shootout with those soldiers and the reinforcements dispatched to wipe out the Ghosts. The Americans acquired information on the cartel's gold mining operation, after which they held their ground against dozens of Unidad soldiers. The Americans were eventually able to escape in a stolen truck.
