Doge Ermolao (1219-1314) was the doge of Venice after the death of Fantino of Venice in 1230. Ermolao was responsible for besieging Nicaea from 1250-1252 during the war between the Latin Empire and Byzantine Empire while he was still "Councillor Ermolao", but he broke off the siege when the two sides made peace.
