The Epidaurus Sanctuary was a temple located within the Sanctuary of Askleipos in Argolis, Greece. It housed a large statue of the Greek god of healing, Askleipos, and its walls were decorated with images of snakes and clay figures of ailing body parts. The sanctuary served as a healing temple, and it survived numerous wars and was even converted into a Christian healing center before the mid-5th century AD.
