Enzo Bonelli (1957-2013) was the boss of the Bonelli crime family of the American Mafia in Los Angeles, California. He was murdered by hitman Franklin Clinton in 2013.
Biography[]
Enzo Bonelli was born in Los Angeles, California to a family of Italian descent, and he became involved with the American Mafia as an extortionist; he would come to run his own organization. Through extortion, murder, and labor racketeering, Bonelli acquired city contracts, and he became a real estate developer. His hostile takeover of the market in Los Angeles ruined old companies such as Gold Coast Developments, leading to Gold Coast stock owner Lester Crest ordering for Franklin Clinton to murder Bonelli at a construction site in downtown Los Angeles. Bonelli tightened security in the building after Crest's source squealed to the mobsters, but Clinton managed to kill Bonelli's hired bodyguards before shooting down his helicopter with an RPG-7. Bonelli died in the ensuing explosion and crash, ending his organization's existence and leading to the resurgence of Gold Coast.
