Enrique Emilio Ros y Perez (1924-10 April 2013) was a Cuban-American businessman and activist who was known for his anti-communist views.
Biography[]
Enrique Emilio Ros y Perez was born in Cienfuegos, Cuba in 1924, and he emigrated to the United States in 1959 following the Cuban Revolution. Ros became a businessman and anti-communist activist, opposing Fidel Castro's communist regime. He hosted radio shows on the US-sponsored Radio Marti, which broadcasted anti-communist propaganda to Cuba; he also supported the embargo against the Cuban government. He died in Miami, Florida in 2013, and his daughter Ileana Ros-Lehtinen became the first Cuban-American congresswoman.
