Enamullah Omarzai

Enamullah Omarzai (1997-) was an Afghan refugee and suspected terrorist who, on 22 January 2025, killed two people in a stabbing attack in Aschaffenburg, Bavaria. He had a history of violent behavior and experienced psychiatric treatment ahead of his planned departure from Germany in December 2024, but he remained under treatment in Germany into January 2025. On 22 January, he attacked a kindergarten group in an Aschaffenburg park with a kitchen knife, killing two. Chancellor Olaf Scholz condemned the stabbing as an "act of terror."
