Emund Eriksson

Emund Eriksson (920-970) was King of Sweden from 950 to 970, succeeding Erik Ringsson and preceding Olof Bjornsson.

Biography[]

Emund Eriksson was born in 920, the son of King Erik Ringsson of Sweden. He allied himself with King Harald Bluetooth of Denmark and subdued Norway in 970; he later showed a friendly attitude to the Christian people who came to him, despite being a pagan. He died in 970.
