Emira Borte of Kesranid Satrapy (1 January 1244-12 July 1262) was one of the wives of Emir Farrukhzad II of Kesranid Satrapy.
Biography[]
Borte was born in 1244 to a family of Sunni Muslim Mongols, and she married Emir Farrukhzad II of Kesranid Satrapy, becoming one of his four wives. In 1262 she was captured by her fellow Mongol Ilkhanids during their first invasion of Azerbaijan, and she was executed on Hulegu Khan's orders.
