Emir Ma'n of Shaybanid Emirate (712-1 January 770) was the emir of the Shaybanid Emirate of eastern Iran until 770, preceding Emir Za'ida of Shaybanid Emirate.
Biography[]
Ma'n was born in 712 to the Shaybanids, a dynasty of Sunni Muslim Bedouin. He became the emir of the Shaybanid Emirate that ruled from Haozdar, Sistan, southeastern Iran. He was a vassal of Caliph al-Mansur until his natural death at the age of 58 on New Year's Day, 770 AD.
