Emir Athanasios of Yahballaha Emirate (757-) was the Emir of the Yahballaha Emirate of Socotra from 788, succeeding Philemon the Fat.
Biography[]
Athanasios was born in 757, the son of Emir Philemon the Fat of the Nestorian Christian Yahballaha Emirate of Socotra. He succeeded his father on his death in 788, and he led his father's defensive pact against the Kingdom of Berbera.
