
Emir An-Nasir Ahmad of Rassid Emirate (881-937) was the Emir of the Rassid Emirate from 911 to 937, succeeding Emir Al-Hadi ila'l-Haqq Yahya of Rassid Emirate and preceding Al-Mansur Yahya ibn An-Nasir.
Biography[]
Emir An-Nasir Ahmad was the son of Emir Al-Hadi ila'l-Haqq Yahya of Rassid Emirate. He was from a Shi'ite Muslim Bedouin family. During his reign he fought against the Fatimid Caliphate, but was soundly defeated at the battle of Nughash outside of Sana'a, shattering his influence on Yemen.
