Emilio Fortuna

Emilio Fortuna (born 1887) was a Mexican stagecoach driver and revolutionary during the Mexican Revolution.

Biography[]

Emilio Fortuna was born in Campo Mirada, Chihuahua, Mexico in 1887, the older brother of schoolteacher Luisa Fortuna. He found work as a stagecoach driver in Chuparosa, and, during the Mexican Revolution, his family joined Abraham Reyes' Rebeldes. He enlisted the help of the American gunslingers Landon Ricketts and Arthur Morgan in rescuing his sister from the Mexican Army, but Colonel Agustin Allende later retaliated by murdering the Fortunas' father and feeding him to the dogs.
