Emil Henze (1772-1837) was an artillery officer of the Prussian Army during the Napoleonic Wars. Henze commanded one of Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick's artillery batteries at the Battle of Jena-Auerstedt in 1806, and he barely managed to escape as French fusiliers engaged in melee combat with his battery. Henze died in Berlin in 1837.
