Emelrich (377-) was a Frankish nobleman and admiral during the late 4th century and early 5th century AD.
Biography[]
Emelrich was the second son of the Frankish king Marcomer and his wife Ultrogotha, the younger brother of Faramund, the older brother of Theudemer, and the husband of Adelais. By 395 AD, at the age of 18, he was in command of a fleet moored off Flevum in the present-day Netherlands.
