Dr. Elsa Schneider (1905-1938) was an Austrian art historian and former Olympic swimmer.
Biography[]
Early years[]
She was born in Vienna in the year 1905. She lost her father during World War I. In 1933, she started her studies at the University of Vienna and graduated in 1936. That year, she participated in the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin, Germany, where she earned silver in the 50-meter freestyle and met Adolf Hitler. Next year, she joined the Austrian Nazi Party.

In 1938, Schneider met Dr. Henry Jones Sr., He had a brief romantic relationship with her before being betrayed by her and kidnapped. A few weeks later Elsa met Dr. Henry Jones Jr., a famous American archeologist and son of Jones Sr., who she had another romantic relationship, before betraying him as well. Elsa Schneider was last seen in public at a book burning rally in Berlin before flying to Hatay.
Death[]
It is believed that Jones Jr. killed her in Hatay, though some believe that she fell to her death with the Holy Grail as the Temple of the Sun collapsed.
