Ellison F. Enwright (1857-1898) was an American sheriff's deputy who lived in Tumbleweed, Arizona Territory during the Wild West era. In 1898, he entered into an angry altercation with the gunslinger Arizona Kid after Arizona crossed the path of Enwright's horse as Enwright rode into town, and Enwright initially asked if Arizona had a problem with the law. When Enwright insulted Arizona as Arizona walked off, Arizona turned and shot Enwright in the chest, killing him.
