Elliott McDaniel (died 1969) was a US Army sergeant who served in 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division during the Vietnam War. A month before he was due to return home, he was killed in a PAVN ambush in the A Sau Valley; wounded by gunfire, he was killed by a grenade while attempting to retreat.
