
Elizur H. Prindle (6 May 1829 – 7 October 1890) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-NY 19) from 4 March 1871 to 3 March 1873, succeeding Charles Knapp and preceding Henry H. Hathorn.
Biography[]
Elizur H. Prindle was born in Newtown, Connecticut in 1829, and he was raised in Unadilla, New York before becoming a lawyer in Norwich, New York in 1854. He served as Chenango County district attorney from 1860 to 1862, as a Union Army recruiter during the American Civil War, in the State Assembly in 1863, and in the US House of Representatives from 1871 to 1873, and he died in 1890.
