Elihu Emory Jackson

Elihu Emory Jackson (3 November 1837-27 December 1907) was the Democratic Governor of Maryland from 11 January 1888 to 13 January 1892, succeeding Henry Lloyd and preceding Frank Brown.

Biography[]

Elihu Emory Jackson was born in Delmar, Maryland in 1837, and he served in the House of Delegates from 1882 to 1883, in the State Senate from 1884 to 1886 and from 1895 to 1897, and as Governor from 1888 to 1892. He died in 1907.
