Elham

Elham (9 April 1244 – 12 July 1262) was a courtier of the Kesranid Satrapy.

Biography[]

Elham was born in 1244 to a family of Sunni Muslim Persians, and she was one of the women at the court of High Chief Farrukhzad II of Kesranid Satrapy. In 1262, she was captured by the Ilkhanate during their second invasion of Azerbaijan, and she was executed on the orders of Hulegu Khan.
