Elba is a Mediterranean island located in the Tuscany region of northern Italy. Located in the Tyrrhenian Sea, just 30 miles east of Corsica, Elba was the site of Napoleon I's first exile from 1814 to 1815, and Napoleon would later return to France from Elba to become Emperor during the "Hundred Days". Elba is the third-largest island of Italy, and it had a population of 32,162 people in 2014.
