Biography[]
Eionios the Metal-Skinned carried the regret of leaving Croton behind. If there was a future for him, it was there. He always fought to win, but ultimately he fought to win the right to return home.
However, in 429 BC - amid the Peloponnesian War in Greece - Eionios was hired to fight as the hero for the Athenian army at the Battle of Pirgella in Argolis. During the battle, he came face-to-face with the Spartan mercenary Kassandra, who slew him after a short battle.
